What makes workers cringe?
Some things bug us all, no matter where in the world we are:
UK workers have named cheap toilet paper as the object they hate most in their office. In the "And finally..." section of the latest edition of the Melcrum publication The Business Communicator, a survey by UK property developer MDA has found that yucca plants and stress toys follow closely behind as workers cringe at items which clutter the office.
Over 500 office workers from across the UK were asked to name their office pet hates and came up with:
1. Cheap toilet tolls
2. Yucca plants
3. Faulty air-conditioning systems
4. Stress balls and toys on desks
5. Vending machine coffee
6. Dirty cups piled in the sink
7. Mismatched desks
8. Patterned carpets
9. Getting e-mails from colleagues five feet away
10. Paper jams left in photocopiers
